January 2019 Update:
As my time demands have changed, the scope of this site has changed. For the most part, the written content has ceased. I don’t really have the time I’d like to have to dedicate to written content, so I’ve chosen to essentially continue the site via the podcast (with the gracious help of Jake Petersen. Please read, listen, and enjoy. This was always a passion project and I still am proud to say that it is one of the better ways to learn about Imperial Assault. Thank you.
Original Launch About Post:
Hello and welcome to the Twin Troopers Blog, a site dedicated to creating content for Imperial Assault ("IA") by Fantasy Flight Games ("FFG"). My name is Eric Dietz ("Dietz," for short) and truth be told, I only recently became a convert to IA (November 2016). Over the course of the past months, I went through the process of familiarizing myself with the game - its design, concept, products, rules, and the general community surrounding it. While forums have been a great way to learn about this game, I was surprised by how few websites were dedicated to covering the game.
That's where I would like to fit in. I'm not going to pretend that I am an expert at IA. In fact, I am far from it. Yet, I believe I have an opportunity to help others get into this excellent game by documenting the time I spend learning it myself. To that end, my goal is to produce one article and one podcast episode per week.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me on Facebook at the Twin Troopers page. Enjoy!
